"I have competed in spelling competitions as an adult from 2002 (at age 50) to 2005. I won 3 of 4 contests. I retired from that corporate type of competition and then introduced the idea of a senior adult spelling bee to our area. This will be the 5th annual competition for adults age 55 plus. Last year we had one 93 year old. The main sponsor of the event sends the winner to the AARP bee in Wyoming in June....
